Shared images from the Campbell Clan

Joyce Macdonald Campbell

Last month the Campbell clan gathered in Wellesley, MA in memory of Joyce Campbell.  Her daughter-in-law Connie Lappa shared the image of this painting of Joyce by Janice Tate.

The paintings below are now in the collection of Norman Tate's son, Jonathan Tate.  They were paintings that Norm kept for himself after Janice died, and must have had special meaning for him.  The "Wandering Jew" is a choice item.  Even Andrew Wyeth commented favorably on her impressive rendering of the complex pattern of the leaves layered over the landscape.
